I think the wife and I need to have a little talk tonight.

Hey, bint, do you want me to pick up some fresh batteries on the way home, or are we sorted?

PS: did you find the keys?

You've got a very fine woman by muchagecko (4.00 / 3) #2 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 02:24:28 PM EST
there.

It's only natural that you'd want to flaunt your relationship with her.

We really don't want my wife finding out about her.

And they're on my keyring where they've always been.

I can't be bothered to change this sig.

Go on, ask her how we used to converse by Rogerborg (4.00 / 3) #9 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 03:08:06 PM EST
Back when I was mainlining Netrek.  Actually, since she's in the kitchen barefoot and baking, I'll just spill it.  She'd Talk to me from a terminal in the same room, as being the best way to actually get my attention.  Now there's a broad who really understands the art of communication.

This is clearly a section 27B/6 situationDemure enthusiasm is what you agreed to, or we can start exploring the penalty clauses.

One thing I'm really looking forward to. . . by nightflameblue (4.00 / 1) #4 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 02:34:45 PM EST
is the sheer numbers of "man you gotta end that shit now, that's just like my situation all over again!" posts that'll pop up every time I say Mrs. NFB and myself disagreed on what type of spaghetti noodles to get ourselves in about three or four months around here. It's gonna be awe inspiring.

My rule of thumb on this by Rogerborg (4.00 / 2) #7 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 02:59:00 PM EST
If she says "We need to talk", then the reply is "Then why are you still dressed?".  Better or worse, you'll know where you stand.

She got her way over the noodles, right?

Personally, I prefer 'in' to 'on' by greyrat (4.00 / 3) #8 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 02:59:29 PM EST
Unless "on" is preceded by "she's" and followed by "top". Just sayin'.
